I am very disappointed and how Jayden Sweets on North Broad St treated my mother. We have been loyal customers for quite some time and have spread the word to friends and family about how great their cakes are. We ordered a cake to be picked up on a Saturday and were surprised that the cake did not taste like others we have ordered. My mother called the following Monday to let them know that the cake did not taste the same and was inquiring if the recipe had changed. The man who answered responded with an attitude saying "You should bring your own recipe". After they hung up, a woman called my mother back to say "Are you on drugs? I haven't even made any cakes today so you can't be talking about my cakes". My mother made her aware that we ordered the cake for Saturday. It is a shame that a business treats a customer like this and not only will we not be returning, but we will no longer be recommending Jayden Sweets. Be aware that if you are looking for Dominican cakes, this is not the place to visit. Have a blessed day everyone.

This small bakery in New Jersey has been my favorite since it opened near my house. The owners are always friendly, and their service is top-notch. While there are only two seats, it’s perfect for takeout. Their sandwiches are freshly made with soft bread, crisp ham, and cheese, grilled just right for a nice crunch. I usually pair mine with their fries, which are golden, well-seasoned, and always fresh. I highly recommend their flan—it’s smooth, rich, and full of flavor! If you’re placing a custom order for a birthday or special event, ask for the coconut cake. It’s a hidden gem with a light, delightful, almost angelic taste. They’re also known for their fresh juices and delicious salchipapas. Overall, this bakery is a hidden gem in Elizabeth, New Jersey—perfect for a quick, satisfying meal with a personal touch. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot that doesn’t compromise on quality or flavor, this place is well worth the visit.

Almost getting sick because they were selling expired Starbucks coffee. Then going back to the store and them giving me another expired coffee and telling me it’s fine and that’s all they had 🫤. Please make sure your checking the products please. Will not be going back.

Just moved from NYC to NJ had tried so many different Dominican cake trying to find a good cake compared to NYC Dominican bakeries this is by far the best Dominican cake I have found in NJ Me fascino el mejor bizcocho dominicano en NJ🤩this review is coming from a sweet tooth who is picky😂❤️💙🤍
